LETTR — Privacy Policy
This is the privacy policy for the LETTR mobile and web game ("the App"), operated by the publisher of playlettr.com. We've kept it short because the App is genuinely simple: it does not collect, transmit, or sell your data.
1. What we collect
Nothing on our servers. The App runs entirely on your device. We do not operate user accounts, log gameplay to a server, or transmit your scores anywhere.
The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device using your browser's or operating system's built-in storage, including: your sound-on/off preference, whether you've already viewed the "How to Play" guide today, and (in future versions) your local high score. This data never leaves your device and is removed if you uninstall the App or clear your browser storage.
2. What we don't do
We do not track you. We do not show ads. We do not use third-party analytics on this version. We do not require an account, an email, a phone number, or any sign-in. We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, location, or any other device permission.
3. Sharing
If you tap the in-app Share button, your operating system's native share sheet appears with a short text result of your game (score, best word, an emoji grid). You choose whether and where to share that text. The App itself does not transmit it.
4. Children
The App is suitable for general audiences. Because the App does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
5. Changes to this policy
If we ever add a feature that changes what data is handled (for example, optional cloud-saved high scores or anonymous analytics), we will update this page and note the date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
6. Contact
Questions or requests about this policy: hello@playlettr.com.
